Megan Carter: The Chaos Whisperer

Dr. Megan Carter, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, is a dynamic healthcare executive and consultant with over 18 years of healthcare and leadership experience. She has served in every nurse leader role up to the executive level. She is a proud graduate of Duke Universtiy where she received her DNP in Executive Leadership. She is also board certified as an Advanced Nurse Executive.

As the President & Founder of MC Health Care Consulting LLC, Dr. Carter offers high-level consulting services that include the Simplify to Impact workshops and digital membership. The Simplify to Impact services help busy healthcare leaders free up 4-8 hours in their work week so they can focus on their employees and patient care. She is quickly becoming known in the healthcare industry for leading the "Chaos Whisperer" movement. Clients who graduate from her workshops and digital courses are able to quickly identify inefficiencies in their calendars, meetings and projects to put innovative strategies to work.

Dr. Carter's patented Clinician Refocus Framework is designed to inform client AI/health tech strategies. This framework uses time motion observations to objectively measure the complex work of physicians, nurses and other clinical teams. The barriers to clinician time in patient care are identified and become the focus of the AI/health tech interventions.

She also facilitates the Sacred Vocation program to address clinician burnout and compassion fatigue. She is a sought-after public speaker and has been featured in several podcasts.
